Hi Maria! Chatib has been around for a while but its still working and you shouldnt worry about viruses from just using the site itself. The main thing to be careful about is clicking any links that strangers send you in chat, thats where problems can come from on any chat site not just Chatib. The platform does have some room moderators which helps keep things somewhat in order. Just use common sense, dont click random links, dont share personal info and you should be fine!
