Hi Federico! Safari can be picky with camera permissions, happens a lot. Check Safari settings > Websites > Camera and make sure Chatroulette is on Allow, not Ask/Block. Also close other tabs/apps that might be using the camera (Zoom, Meet, whatever). If still broken, clear site data for Chatroulette and reopen Safari. Chrome working usually means your camera itself is fine.

Hi Alejandro! A lot of people think that but Chatroulette is actually still around. That said our monitoring shows it has been having some downtime recently so its not always accessible. The traffic is way lower than its peak years and honestly a lot of people have moved on to newer platforms. It was the site that started the whole random video chat thing back in 2009 so it has historical value for sure but in terms of actually having a good experience in 2026 there are better options out there now.
